ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited Newcastle
Positive engineering causes follow-up orders from ArcelorMittal in South Africa
Waste water treatment to reach “the first steel plant/ coke oven plant with zero effluent discharge” of the world.
Due to the good response after finishing the engineering, Wabe Wasseraufbereitung GmbH gets two large orders from ArcelorMittal in Newcastle to build the new water treatment plant.
In detail:
- Delivery of the complete mechanical and electrical components
- Installation and assembling of the plant equipment
- PLC-programming and process visualization (scada system)
- Construction supervision as EPCM Contractor (Engineering Procurement and Construction Management)
- Commissioning and employee training
Start of construction is projected for the beginning of August 2012 and finishing of the commissioning for December 2013.
The total contract value is about 15 Mio. €.
