Retrofit of FGD-waste water treatment plant with an intermediate storage
As a part of plant-engineering, optimisation of FGD-waste water treatment plant of STEAG GmbH at the premises of Shell AG, location Godorf should be improved by the sedimentation process in the thickener, that recycled water for intermediate storage in RAA-process is attributed continuously into the inlet of the second processing stage.
For this purpose, an appropriately sized buffer will be retrofitted.
The job of intermediate storage containers is to collect discontinued processing water as a press filtrate, injected water of high pressure belt filter press and water from drainage pit and to lead back continuously.
Thereby flow capacity points in RAA which can lead to sedimentation problems in the thickner and lead to increased flakes overdrive, can be significantly reduced.
